i got an email from her hubby. i dont know if anyone else posted but she is home.

Just wanted to let everyone know everything went well and Kim is home. She is groggy fom all the anesthesia and pretty sore, but
she should be up and about by tomorrow sometime.

yeah i had no idea she was being released the SAME DAY. minor detail left out LOL!

i know there are some surgey centers that do this as outpatient. it's cheaper. but i had no idea she had gone that route. i am nervous but she's in good hands with her hubby

Well...I am having mine on 2/26 and I will be home the same day. I asked over and over...shouldn't I stay overnight. The surgeon said it was not required and since it is elective and obvisioulsy self pay....I could pay for the night if I wanted to but his patients do not have to stay. However he does require that I come in to the office at 9 am the next morning.
