Default Post tummy tuck 8.5 weeks

I am 8 and a half weeks post TT and feeling good, but still have the swelling which I know can last a while, but it's not as bad just I believe, where it should b for this time period. What concerns me is that when I sit I have noticed a slight roll above my pants, not even a muffin top, although I swear it is, but hubby says it's not, but I am making me freak out about it. I also feel a little loose skin above my panties. Is this normal and should I be concerned. I so wish I could do my ab exersises already but can't until I am 3 months post-op. If it's still the same at my 3 months check up I will tell him. But if anyone could put my mind at rest, or just be honest with me about this, I would appreciate it. I am still wearing the binder every day unless I go out, then I wear my spanx so I am still trying to hold it all in.

Thanks

Joanne
PS Hubby thinks it looks fine, so maybe I'm becoming obsessed - who knows?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You are probably being your worst critic. Trust your husband and believe what he says.
Remember, the swelling will loosen things up a bit, that later will tighten up. You need to give yourself several months for everything to really firm and tighten up.
This, just as with the weight loss itself, takes time.

Default Thank you

Thank you so much Docsane for your reply. I guess I do have to be more patient, unfortunately patience isn't one of my strong points. I was honestly thinking that I might ask the dr to lipo this loose skin I am seeing, but I guess you are right. Do you also think that once I am able to do exersises on my abs it might be even better? Realistically how long should this all take? I can now get into my jeans but they are not comfortable enough to wear just yet, how long does that all take? Sorry to ask you all these questions, but it helps to know the facts.

Thanks again and take care.

Joanne
