Default Roux en Y for Paraesophageal Repair

I was wondering if anyone has had the Roux en Y bypass for paraesophageal hernia? I am 60 lbs overweight and I have had a Nissen and 2 failed paraesophageal repairs (stomach gets stuck in the esophagus). I need another surgery and the doctor is considering the Roux en Y. I would love to do it but Im nervous. Does anyone have any insite to site? Help!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

WOW . I have never heard of the problem you have currently. I learn somthing new everyday. If this is all they can do to fix it go for it. At your point and time right now you need to really reaseach this surgery and know what goes on with it. You dont have alot to lose like some of us others did. So please reseach it and do it some more.

Yes, there was someone who had RNY for his esophageal problems, but the name slips my mind.
He came back on after his surgery, but the report wasn't too good, and he hasn't been around since then.

Here's the person's thread.
His story may be a little bit different from yours.
