Talking 26th set and medicare to pay hospital

it hs been up in the air about whether or not ins would pay for the hospital costs that covered the tummy tuck. i knew it would cover the hernia part but now the hospital and doc office have decided that medicare will pay the tummy tuck part. of course medicare doesn;t preapprove but the doc's office was right the last time. now i just have to pay the doc's tt share, which is 2000 since itwill be done at the same time as the hernia repair. does anybody have advice. i will be 4 hours from home and in a room without a recliner. i guess i will be using tons of pillows. what should i take since i will be away from home for such a long time. thanks, vick

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

From what I hear, there could be quite a bit of discomfort involved. How about a bottle of the good stuff? <hic!>

Honey what I found is this. You can ask that a chair be brought to your room at the hosptial mabye it wont recline but its somthing to set in different than the normal chairs they have. I have requested a different type each time I have been in and the nurses pick good ones. They have heard it before.

I like the idea of you going to a house that is part of the hosptial to be looked and tended to. They will help you there and possibly have a recliner. I have not had anything like your having done.... but I did notice on shows.. when they rest they are in the bed. This will be a much tougher surgery than the WLS was. Remember that.

Im glad your ready and know what is going on with insurance. Im glad you know that Meicare never preapproves a stay or surgery. Alot of physcians have been told this a million times but they have never preapproved nothing! LOL . They will pay however for the hosptial stay im sure of it.
