Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

LOL I'll let you know about a month from now. I'm expecting it to be 3 weeks off work at the most. I'm going to try to go back after week 2, but just depends on if I get complications or not. It's at least 6 weeks before you're released to exercise.

My PS said to start exercising whenever i felt like it, in moderation of course. It will depress the heck out of you if you are used to exercising and you stop cold turkey (not to mention hard to get back into the routine too). I'm 6 weeks post op TT/LBL and about week 3 i started walking and doing the elliptical trainer. He also said i could do light weights as long as I listened to my body and didn't over-do it. At week 4 i was reaching up to grab the bar on the pull down machine when I felt a pop and sharp burning pain on my side. Turns out I popped a stitch which believe it or not turned out not to be a big deal. I was surprised to hear my nurse popped one while she was eating dinner after her TT. Said it can happen anytime for any reason--not to feel guilty. She encouraged me to take a few days off, pop some Advil and get back to it when the pain stopped--about 4 days for me. Best advice I've could have gotten. My best friend had her TT the same day as I did and is choosing to not exercise (her PS is conservative & advising she wait until after 6 weeks) and she has been miserable and going through a major depression.
