Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

So I used to work in an operating room and one day I saw my assignment and I was doing plastic surgery all day. One of the cases had a giant asterik (SP) and said to see the surgeon for instructions. I was of course quite curious and went to find the surgeon....

He tells me that we are doing breast implants.... I looked at him like he was crazy, as we did those all the time..... he goes on to explain that we were doing this on a man who was in the process of becoming a woman. Ok, no biggie, same procedure just different gender....

So what is my point you may ask........ If they can put them into a man, I'm sure that they can do a reduction on your "moobs".

Glad you are feeling better!

It's just packaging, Bob! A little cut here, a bit of a trim there, a few stitches ... the technology is well understood. All it takes is money and the will to use it!!

Best of luck to you. My wife is jealous that I came out of this with so little excess skin. She lost less weight than I did, but has more to show for it, if you catch my meaning!

Yes, they can reduce moobs. LOL love that word. If they are hanging enough to cause a fold of skin and you can document rashes in that area, many insurance companies will pay for the reduction. Otherwise, you are probably on your own for the fee.

One piece of advice ... make sure you go to a PS that specializes in WLS patients. Our skin presents many problems that a standard PS just doesn't know about.
