| Any post-ops have their boobs done?
So I have lost the "fullness" in my boobs because of all of the weight loss and am DYING to get my boobs lifted....not augmented in any way. but rather, lifted. Now I am preggo, so that idea is out the door for a while lol... I plan on breast feeding but as soon as that is over....to the PS I go! I want my boobies to be so perky that they are up around my ears!
Has anyone here had their boobs done? I am curious as to how happy you are and how much pain was associated with your procedure.
Thanks!

I am not to that point yet, but I can see them becoming deflated balloons as the days pass... I know of a few people who wanted "just a lift" and ended up with them augmented at well. We lose so much volume in them, that if they are just lifted they may be MUCH smaller than we are comfortable with. Not to get to graphic, when they do a lift, they make a keyhole type incision around the areola, down, and under the breast. They pull the skin from those two flaps together that lift the breast tissue up. If there is not much volume left to that tissue, there isn't going to much of breast left. I have been a DDD at my heaveist, and right now with 85lbs still to go to where I want to be, if I just pull the skin like that , I can see that I will only have a small C. A good PS will tell you what will look the best proportionately for you. Congrats on Baby!

Frankly, my lack of perky boobs is the last thing I am thinking about now. I guess at my age, I just want to get healthy! If I want perky boobs sticking up by my ears, then I'll tie them around my neck. Maybe after I lost all the weight I am meant to, it will bother me. But right now I don't think tight titties is a precursor to being successful at the wls experience. If anything, I would have my upper arms reduced later on, so when I wave at someone, they won't think someone is shaking a circus tent out in their direction, causing them to duck ! Besides, there's always duct tape!!

I can't wait until I reach my goal weight so I can start having PS.I know my boobies will be one of the first,I got more sag than a 80 year old woman going on. But the first thing I want is a tummy tuck I always had a big stomach so I can't wait until its flat as a board.

I am with you Jennifer, I would love to have my chest re-done, I have went from a F to a D cup and I would think I would be about a C cup if I didn't have all this extra skin hanging around. My sagging limits what types of clothes I can wear. I told my DH once we are done having children, I am DOING it!!! No ands, ifs, or, buts about it!!!!

cost varies by region. You have to call around. I go see my surgeon tomorrow to get his idea about how close I am to ready. I know with my insurance if you submit and word everything right you get one procedure of lifting that can be covered benefit. I hope to have more details. I am in south eastern colorado. some friends have done tummy tuck/lipo and breast reconstruction lately and they paid cash about 15K

Last year I got rashes under my belly & boobs. I'm afraid it will be worse this summer. We (DH and me) joke around and call it the boob, belly, & butt fund, but we're putting money aside because I'm pretty sure that something will have to be done. Sure the idea of a flat tummy is awesome, but right now I'm worried about keeping clean and dry under the skin folds. I don't know how much it will cost, but I will continue to put money back until I've reached goal or stop loosing. At that point I will go in for a consult to get an idea of what it will run. A friend, who did not have WLS had one and it was about $6000. I think if I get enough supporting information, such as rashes, that insurance may pay part of it. If insurance will at least cover the hospital costs & anesthesia, then that will be a blessing. The surgeon fees do not seem to be that bad, but the related costs add up.
