Well i had my tummy tuck last weds, was not as bad as i had planed only was in the hospital 24 hours came on and not too bad. they cut off 15 lbs of skin and it looks so much better. i cant believe i have a flat stomach... I'm still swollen as crap tho and i hate these drains. Going in sat to get stitches removed and i cant wait cause they itch. but im ok and so glad i did it.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Congratulations!! Wow, 15lbs lighter after a TT -- that's amazing!! As I'm getting closer to my goal, the idea of having a TT myself is something I think quite a lot about. Prior to the surgery, I thought I'd never want it -- that I'd be so glad to not be obese that I wouldn't care about the extra skin. But now, I look at all that extra skin and think about how nice it would be if it were gone. i'd love to be able to tuck my shirt in and wear a belt -- something I've never done in my adult life. I'm curious about the insurance/cost factor too if you don't mind sharing.

I'm glad you're doing ok and hope you heal quickly.

My insurance did cover all but 1000 dollars of it. I just put the rest on a care credit card. I did not really think they would but was surprised they did, i think the only thing else im going to get fix is my boobs, and my dr is working on getting that approved also. When you go from wearing a 48,f to a 36 c things looks way gross, as far as the rest of skin i know i will never look perfect i just want the things fixed to were i can wear normal clothes and not have to worry about things falling out hehe.

Thanks for sharing the insurance approval and your out of pocket cost. It gives me hope. (I am guessing I need more work (boobs) done than I think. )
