I'm really curious when I am going to be able to wear jeans or dress pants that I wear to work? I know I'm only a week and a half out from surgery but I'll have to go back to work soon and not sure if I need to go buy a bunch of loose dresses or something. Just what I need is to spend more money. But I don't want to chance messing anything up inside.

i was out of my job for 8 weeks following my TT/lower body lift so i didnt wear anything but loose stuff to my dr appt's

but even now the sensation is still kind of numb on my tummy so it really doesnt hurt . i guess if you dont wear really tight pants you can go back to wearing them as long as you are not in pain. i am a firm believer that we know our bodies.....if it's uncomfortable then dont do it!!

I found jeans to be very uncomfortable for the first 6 months - even loose ones. A lot of it is going to depend on how much you swell. I still get a bit swollen in the afternoon and it's been a year.

Thank you both for the information. I guess I'll be buying me some dresses to get me through this time. I'm in a management position so I have to dress "nice" and I don't think my loose knit pants would work. Although I'm sure they'd understand. Thanks again. I go for my post op with the doctor today. It'll be my first appt with him since surgery. I'm anxious to see what he says about my progress.
