I'm 6 weeks post op from my lower body lift. I'm doing great but have a question for those who have been through it. How long was your midsection (mostly just above the incision) numb feeling? It's such a weird feeling to touch it and not really feel much. Also my hips or flanks are also very tender and numb feeling. I'm so ready to feel normal again but have zero regrets!

I have never had any surgery such as yours....... but I can tell you when I have had other surgerys like my hysterectomy and some abdominal certian muscles or nerves they had to cut I never got feeling back in them or it took a very long time . I hope someone will be able to come along and help you with this.

i am post op since Jan 5 2011 from my lower body lift / tummy tuck and my whole tummy is still numb and the top of my thighs ....i think it can take up to a year is what my dr told me

melimel68, my cousin went and met your doctor and knew he was the one to do her surgery, so she is due to have her 360 and breast augmentation on June 15th. She is so excited...I can't wait to see her 6 days after her surgery. :-) She said to tell you thanks for the recommend.

I'm over a year out and my tummy between the pubic mound and belly button is still a little numb, especially on days when I swell still. I have a spot on each hip that's also numb but I've gotten used to it and don't notice it much.

Still think it was worth it!

For those who had the 360 vs just a tummy tuck or vice versa, what was the deciding factor in this decision. I am trying to decide which I want to pursue. Any information would be helpful.

I carried the majority of my excess weight in my butt and thighs so that's where the worst excess was. The LBL (lower body lift - 360) helps with the butt area. The tradeoff is that you butt will be very flat afterwards. Ask your plastic surgeon to show you pictures of his work so you know what you are getting into.
