Just got the call from BCBS, they have APPROVED me for a trunkoplasty, or a 360 body lift. My surgery is on January 20th. I'm super nervous and excited all at the same time. If anyone out there has had this done, I would love to hear from you about your experience. I just really cannot believe that my insurance approved it and is going to pay for it!
I'll keep everyone updated!

I went for a consultation with a Plastic surgeon, he documented my issues-having trouble with rashes, (I had a huge 5 inch long rash when I went for this consult, by the way), also documented that I couldnt cross my legs, had trouble exercising and doing daily activities. I sent this letter from the surgeon, along with a letter I personally wrote-alot was a repeat of what the surgeon said, but in my own words, I also sent a before RNY photo and one of me now. I thought that if I could get the insurance company to see me more as a person-a real human being instead of a member number that they would be more willing to approve me. I did meet all of the "medically necessary" criteria, however. I hope this helps out.

I'm so excited for you!! Can't wait till you have it done so I can live vicariously through you!! LOL 
Sure wish I could figure out a way to get TriCare to pay for me to have PS, but I don't think I'd even be able to get a panni as it's not really hanging that much, I would just like to not look like a Shar-pei puppy!!
