I lost 40 lbs pre-op in 6 weeks and a lady who had surgery the same day as me was on medifast for 5 weeks and only lost 18 lbs. I guess when they see people like us, they're impressed. And they know we didn't cheat!! They must have JUST stopped the bowel prep because my friend had surgery last thursday and had to do it. Although, I must say, other than the immediate results from the enema (what goes up, must come down, lol!) I had no extra bowel movements. I mean, there's nothing left, so it never did make any sense to me! It never feels like time flies by until it's over and since you thought it would it would never end - it's awesome!!! I can't believe I'm already 4 1/2 weeks post-op, it's really weird. You'll see!!!!!!!
