Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  received insurance approval well - i am pleased to announce that i finally have insurance approval.  now, i am waiting to find out if i can still have surgery. what happened is that on friday during a colonoscopy my heart decided to go rather crazy and had irregular rapid heart activity. ended up spending the night in the hospital for observation along with a barrage of tests. i am waiting to find out from the cardiologist as to whether or not i am able to undergo general anesthesia and major surgery. anyone had issues when their heart - they classified this as attrial fibrillation.

Let them check you out and do what they need to. More than likely they will go ahead once they find out its safe for you. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Congratualtions on the approval!!! I'm going to let Doc tackle the heart question, but this is my quick observance as a nurse opinion. With A-fib, they may put you on a blood thinner or maybe put a filter in. If you're in A-fib too long, your blood sits in one spot too long and can form little clots that get 'thrown' when it starts pumping normally and can eventually get back to your lungs = pulmonary embolism = not good.
