Default Surgery in 2 more sleeps!

Ok, I am very excited about all this. I have had a few people say things like 'why dont you just carry on with the pre-op diet?'
My reaction?
:big laugh:

Seriously, it never ever lasts! Do people not think that we have all tried and tried and tried to lose weight every way imaginable prior to getting to this step? haha
I do know they are just getting anxious, so it makes it ok.

Ok, I am also going to get VERY brave and post some pics on here. full body, front and side.
while I was looking at them esp the side one, I noticed how badly out of shape, literally shape, while I am standing. I thought I was standing up straight, but obviously, that is not the case. Very very sad at what I have done to my body.

Lighter note: Surgery is on Tuesday. Mum arrives tomorrow to learn how to care for David by herself (she knows most of it, just a bit of..tweaking to be done), pack my bags...what else???
Oh, today is my Birthday. 31...I mean 30...(again) lol and I won about $100.00 on the lottery, its a far cry from the big one of 10million, but still, that will pay for my haircut! woohoo!! right rambled on enough.....

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Happy Birthday to you and the best of luck on Tuesday. Don't let your friends get you down....I heard those same things near the end of the liquid diet. Everyone starts getting nervous about the whole thing.

Take care

Good luck on your surgery...you have to do what is right for you, not THEM. I am sure that you didnt go into this last week and make your decision. Have faith in yourself and your decision.

Happy Birthday and can't wait for you to join us over on this side!

And BTW, I lost 40lbs pre-op and countless people said to me that now I don't need surgery or some version of that. It's a typical reaction, though I don't know why. But I never would have even done that if I didn't know it was a jump start to surgery. Stuff like that never lasts and all the weight would come RIGHT back plus 20 lbs!

I look forward to reading the 'I'm home' post from you in a few days!

Happy Birthday, and keeping you in my prayers for an uneventful surgery and uncomplicated recovery.
Say, Leslie, CraigT's wife (Craig's the one who started and hosts this site)'s birthday is March 9, too, though due to the time difference, it'll be several hours more.
Anywho, BIIIIGGGGG (((((((((HUGS)))))))))) to you.
