Default Article on Bariatric Medicine.

Here is a link to an excellent overview article for PCPs that should also be informative for you. If you have a PCP who is not familiar enough with weightloss surgery, this can be a good summary article that can serve as a starting point.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

GREAT ARTICLE!!!!

AND i know i agree 100 percent with the looseing 5 to 10 percent pre op reduces complications. MY surgeon has LOW complication rate amongst
his patients because of his strict rules on pre op weight loss.

I think this is a great article and i sure hope my REGULAR doctor reads it so he can better care for me over the years ahead.

THANKS doc

I do kinda wish that my surgeon had been more tough with me, but all is well now so there is no use in my stressing about it now. I wish I would have spent more time enjoying ceasar salad pre op and steak.
