Default Weigh-in tomorrow

I go back to the doctor tomorrow for one of my monthly visits. I haven't weighed in 4 weeks. I don't have a scale at home that will weigh me and I want to wait to buy one. So...wish me luck. Can't wait to see how much I have lost. My hubby has lost 17 pounds this month just by eating what I am eating (without much exercise).

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Keeley, I know you will do just fine.......but Good Luck anyway. Do you have to do a diet plan before surgery? My insurance reguired 6 months. I know when it came time to weigh in I did all I could to loose a little extra.

Let us know how it went.

Yes, it's a good idea to wait a few weeks to get under 300 pounds to get a new scale. Most scales have this limit. When I was 345 I looked for months to find a scale to be able to track my weight. I finally found a Health o Meter scale at a hospice store that came from a doctor's office. It had a platform to stand on, and the analog dial was on a pedestal that came up about 40 inches or so. It also went to something linke 450 pounds. I used this until I got under 300 pounds after RNY, then bought a new digital scale, only spending about $20 for one. Both scales were accurate, as I compared them to what I weighed on my surgeon's scale, that cost $2500. Good luck on your wiegh in. DAVE

Good luck tomorrow.
Even if the numbers don't turn out to be what you expected, don't let the scale upset you.
Just stick to whatever plan you've been given, and the end result will be good.

Good luck tomorrow!!! I'm sure you've done great!!!!
But a word of advise - please, please, please don't get upset if your husband lost more than you. It's that man thing! They do one or two things different and lose instantly, we change everything and workout and barely lose! More importantly, how do you FEEL?????!!!!!!!!!
Let us know how it goes!

Kim-
I have to do a 6 month physician supervised weight loss. I am trying to stay with high protein and low carb. I am trying out some protein shakes and stuff I might use after surgery.

I expect that my husband has lost more. He has more to lose than me too so I know it will be a little more for him. The most important thing is that all of my clothes fit now and I feel great!!

Im sure things will be great honey. Hold off on the scale as long as you can. It can be to tempting to get on it daily. Trust me on this one. Good luck and let us know how it goes for ya.
