So, my periods are normally pretty irregular. I have been on glucophage for insulin resistance and now my periods are regular (somewhat). I have horrible cravings..I am not used to this. I am struggling to stay on my eating plan. I don't feel like cooking and just want chocolate all the time. Does anyone have a suggestion for something chocolate that isn't too bad to eat?? I don't want to start back sliding already.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I like the 100 cal packs. They have chocolate covered pretzels, the fudge stiped kebler cookies and the mini cup cakes. It's all stuff we shouldn't be eating, but when you crave it, these aren't bad choices. I bought one of each a while ago and I still have pratically full boxes, but they came in handy when I was really craving anything chocolate. Before I had these I ate a few of my son's m&m's. I was lucky, they satisfied my craving and I didn't eat anymore, but you would need to make sure 3 or 4 would do the job. You wouldn't want to go crazy!

I just wanted to add to this post that I too was on Glucouphage before surgery. I have not taken it since surgery and my PCOS/insulin resistance has disappeared. Cravings? Well, they are still here. I am also a fan of the 100 calorie pack stuff... I also like the NSA fudge sicles.

I have also tried about every 100 Calorie pack they have, they are usually on sale too! I like the No Sugar Added Fudgesicles too. I LOVE Jello Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding and the White Chocolate Pudding too. Oh now I have to go mix some up!!! Oh, and Quaker Granola Bars have some 90 Calorie Boxes with Dark Chocolate chips!!

I agree with everyone about the 100 cal packs but if you want something kind of creamy try Stoneyfield's chocolate underground yogurt. It is so god. It has 0g of fat if I remember correctly.

And if you buy the sugar free, fat free pudding mixes (in the baking isle at my store) and make it yourself with skim milk - they have chocolate, white chocolate, vanilla, pistaccio, you are saving a lot of calories and getting protein (from the milk). Just make sure you grab the boxes that say both sugar free AND fat free. I think if you can get a sugar fix and get protein too the craving may not get out of control. Queens idea of yogurt, same thing, chocolate fix, with protein, not empty calories. And Tamtams idea about chocolate covered soy nuts.

Thank you all for the ideas. I have not been walking as much lately and I think that is adding to the problem. So...I am off to walk for about 45 minutes before I give two very large (and smelly) dogs a bath!!
