I came home from work and was opening the mail, the last thing that I happend to open was a letter from my surgeons office. It had a list of appointments that needed to be completed along with my surgery date. Its Oct 3, 2006 I cant believe it, Im so excited!

Thanks all for the congrats,
I didnt think that it would happen this quickly. I am happy that its starting though, I had to make a calender with all my appts, I have about 10 of them between now and then, But with just my surgeons requirements I just have to do the Blended diet review, gallbladder ultrasound, and some pretesting. I dont no about a sleep apnea test, they never mentioned it to me, I have not been tested and hate to think that that was overlooked. I plan to ask tonight in my support group. I am really lucky, I guess because I got an early time for surgery, 750 AM so I wont have a need to drink or eat in the morning because there is no drinking within 4 hours of the surgery and no eating after midnight~ like I would do that anyways, I guess this means that I will need to get my house in order before going in, that shouldnt be too hard to do, but I will need to do shopping for home and make a shopping list so my hubby can do this without me if I am in any pain after I get home which I am sure i will be. I found a protein shake that I like already so that is one thing down, just about a gazzillion more things to do.
