Cool what is the best tasting protein shake for your money?

I have been dong some research & found that 100% Whey brand tastes good & about the cheapest. Before I go out buying one to try I would like to see what you guys like.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Read through the various protein threads in Vitamins and Nutritions subforum in the Gastric bypass post-op issues -> Gastric byapss diet forum.
You'll find that everyone differs, and also that taste changes post op, so a lot of people end up not being able to stand what they thought was good pre op, once they get on the post op side. Many have had to throw out stuff they bought pre op due to this.

The best thing to do is to get samples of various products, and keep them even if you don't like it now, and try out later when you are post op, and then get a supply to last you a while. If you stock up now, you may very well end up wasting your money.

I like the vanilla personally....it's fat free, sugar free and has 35 grams of protein (whey based).

i have two favorite forms of protein. during the day i mix up an IDS new whey liquid protein (bullet) - blue raspberry with crystal light lemonade and 20 ounces of water/ice and drink at the office. these are 42g protein and very refreshing. my second favorite and i generally have this either for a quick breakfast on the go or in the evening after dinner - Lean Dessert Protein Powder - whipped vanilla - mix one scoop with 5 oz water and crushed ice in my magic bullet and it is AWESOME and creamy. (whenever my family hears the magic bullet blending they quickly call out their request "can i have one too!") the ids new whey liquid is around 2.92 per tube and the Lean Dessert protein powder is around $26 for a canister of 35 servings, which comes to 74 cents per serving.

I love the Unjury Vanilla, it has the best flavor around IMHO.
But second is the EAS Vanilla from Walmart. I always choose Vanilla because it is so easy to add an updated flavor to it with just about anything!

Never tried slim fast.

I love the nectar syntrax. My favorite's are the peach, fuzzy navel (peach/orange), and the caribbean cooler. I mix them in 20 ounce bottle with crystal light (orange for the peach ones and strawberry orange banana with the caribbean cooler). They taste just like juice. I had trouble in the begining with shake-like drinks. I'm like Amina, that medifast did me in!
