Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Did you get any reading material and information packets from your surgeon? Start by going through that.
It's quite normal to get cold feet pre op. You'll probably have roller coaster emotions right up to the date.

Here's something I posted elsewhere for someone who was having the same thoughts as you.

As for your risks and what MIGHT happen post op, and whether you feel that surgery and the subsquent weight loss will help improve the quality of your life, and whether you can stict to the ruled you need to post op, for the rest of your life, is your decision and one that only YOU can make.
If you are having doubts, then please go through all the informative posts in this forum, and search other forums as well.
The discussion going on in the following thread might be a good place to start.
http://www.renewedreflections.com/fo...s-surgery.html

Always keep in mind that there are two sides to any and every coin. YOU are the only one who can choose which side of the coin.

Make a list of what your weight prevents you from doing, what risks you have due to your weight.
Make a list of what you are afraid of happening due to surgery.
Make a list of how you hope to improve your life through this surgery.
Compare the lists, and ponder your thoughts.

Welcome and congratulations on your suregry date!!!! That's exciting/nerve racking! As for the eating on the road, it can be very easy if you pack the right things. They make small ziploc tupperware that are the perfect size for us. I always take my lunch to work and travel a lot and I don't eat the bad stuff, I pack all nutritious stuff. Just make sure you get an insulated bag and pack freezer packs to keep cold stuff cold. It's gonna take planning and effort, but it'll be so worth it, trust me.
