Question Best Places in Philly and/or internet for vitamins/supplements/proteim
Hi All,

My surgery date is January 8th and I'm in the process of purchasing my vitamins and protein powders. I just wanted to see if anyone knows of some places on the net or in/around Philly to purchase the vitamins and supplements at an ok price. So far, the only place I've found on the net with halfway decent prices was vitalady.com. But I would prefer a store where I could just pick them up myself without waiting for them to be shipped. I know Walmart has the EAS myoplex protein powder that I've heard nothing but good things although it's all according to personal preferance. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

you just have to check around walgreens has the opti source vitamins and today i got vitamin d and biotin by one get one free and vitron c is only sold at cvs as for protein shakes i use walmart it is 13.00 for a big container where are you having your surgery! i had mine at chester crozer with dr katz who is your surgeon

Hi Gina,

I'm having my surgery at HUP with Dr. Noel Williams. I've heard nothing but good things about him. When I had my last appt with the nurse practioner, I found out that they do give their patients a prescription for medications to prevent gallstones. So I'm glad about that.
