Update By Walkfaith!!!

I did my Upper GI testing today. I was told that I had Acid Reflux and a small hernia.
I also did my preadmitting today- Bloodwork, EKG, etc. Had to attend a Nutrition Class by Surgeon office. So you see had a full day today. I also started my liquid diet today.
Can't wait until the Oct. 23-surgery day.
I am tried, long day!!!

Looks like your pre-tests are going fine.
Oct 23 is only 2 weeks away, hope you get along well with your liquid diet.

during your bypass surgery????

Remember that I am WALKBYFAITH, I am trusting God for everything,God is in Control of my life and believing in him has had the different.
I do not know if a hernia repair is needed, but my surgeon will probably talk to me about hernia repair after he receive my Upper GI results.

COOL i imagine if its a major one they will do it with the gastric bypass...
and if not soo serious they can hold off and weight till ur done with ur looseing and hope to get the tummy tuck work done with that repair.

I'm thrilled for you...and trusting God and His provision for you during this time...and for your quick recovery! I did sooo great during my surgery...all b/c of HIM! I know you're in His will too...and all is well!

I had my surgery October 23, and everything went well, but on Nov. 16, I had to go back the hospital because my pouch closed on me and I could not keep any food or liquid down, so did a procedure that opened my pouch back up. I am still adjusting to food, but most of the time, I drink whey protein, if I don't feel like eating. I have lost alot of weight.
Before I had the surgery, I weigh 407, now I weigh 327 as of yesterday. I exercise 3 times a week, and taking vitamins, etc. I look and is starting to feel good. Best decision I have made.

I am sorry to hear you had what im thinking sounded like a stricture?
GLAD your doing better now.
AND do keep us posted on how your doing.
SOUNDS like your doing everything right and im so glad to hear how happy you are already!
