Default Am totally Stupid !!!!

I just cannot believe what I have done to myself. I have no excuses whats so ever and after 9 days I thought I would have been ok - but I was'nt.

Today for some reason today has been tough, both emotionally and food wise and I have just done the most stupidest thing known to man.

For reasons unknown to me - I have just stuffed and I mean stuffed down:-

2 sausage rolls
half a cornish pasty
3 choc biccies
and muesili with yoghurt

I was full after the sausage rolls but I could'nt stop myself and now I feel so sick its unbelieveable.

I feel such a failure and just dont know what came over me, but I could'nt stop - its like it was'nt me eating it but someone else. Why would I be like that? I have now proved my partner right - he said he did'nt think i would cope with it and I have'nt. I just feel so bad

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

(((TIGHT FRIENDLY HUGS)))

YOUR totally normal......
you have alot of stress on you right now.
DOING the liquid diet this long pre op isnt
an easy challenge.
I am sure all is fine.
JUST take a deep breath now and get back
on track!
CONFESSING here and admitting it helps....
just remember you will in time be able to enjoy
all your favorite foods.......just in smaller portions!
SO there is no need to have them for the one last time.
ITS so emotional on you right now
thats why you had this little binge!!!
I know i can relate to eating like that at times
its proly one of many ways i soared up to my max weight.

NOW just put it behind you and get back on track as best you can.
JUST say you got it out of your system now and fight harder now
to finish this liquid diet !!!
I commend you its not easy...
but i will add do you tell your doctor or not i dont know...
all the best

Juls, you have just proven that you are human, and you still have human powers...now just re-focus and re-direct them in another direction, like toward your goal. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with trying out your human controls. Just leave it behind and forge onward knowing that you made a choice and now you are making a better choice. I admire you, I don't know that I would have confessed, but...since confession is good for the soul, you are far ahead of the game. Good luck in your future...

Hi Guys - thank you for your support on this. Yep I was only being normal and I think once I started on the food that was it.
Anyway confessed to my daughter - bless she gave me a hug cos I started crying and told me not to worry. I dont know if its right of me but am not informing the hospital. It was a one meal wonder and boy did I suffer because of it last night - so i dont think I will be repeating it again sometime soon. I had violent stomach pains, felt sick and very loose bowels indeed and thats on the pre-op diet lol. Nope think i will be a good girl from now on. thank you again though for your comforting words.

Awwww(((((((HUGS))))))
Just dust your hands and get back on the band wagon, you're doing fine.
Incidentally, no need to inform the hospital, I think.
Just one day will make no difference in your overall status, and the objective of the liquid diet is 1) to prepare you for the surgery and have you lose some weight pre op to make the surgery safer, and 2) to prepare you for the first few weeks of post op liquid diet.
The only food that will affect your surgery is something solid eaten within 24-48 hrs of the surgery, so you are quite safe there, too.
Hang in there, all's well that ends well.

Juls,

I'm sorry that you feel bad, honestly I didn't go through the pre-op diet but I bet it must be hard!

I agree with the Doc don't tell the hospital, a slip for one day or for one meal will not effect your regime! just forget about it and carry on the liquid diet.

It's just 5 days from now and you'll be in our side of the team, hang in there! we have a saying in Kuwait (that a lot have gone, and only a little is still remaining!)

Stick in there, sooner you'll laugh at these days LOL

Love,
Hanadi

thank you everyone - well you'll be pleased to know I've been a good girl today lol. I also met up with 6 other members of a local WLS group for a couple of hours and had a lovely time chatting. it made me feel not so alone in all of this and gave me chance to ask all those unanswered questions too.

5 days til surgery and still nervous but getting there
