That's approximately how much longer I have to wait until my turn in the or. I'm as ready as I can be..I have my bag packed, lists made out, plans made for my pet's care. I have jello and other goodies ready in the fridge, so all I have to do is a little more waiting. My youngest d called me this morning and asked if I was sure I wanted to go through with this. HUH? After all I said and done to get right to this point only to turn back is unimagineable! Sure I'm still scared. But more scared not to give myself a chance. Now if only the clock would go a little faster!!!!

I still remember walking into the hospital to check in 6 a.m. saying "HI, I am here!" The receptionist chuckled and asked for my name and said "Ok, Go ON!!! Back."
As soon as I went "back" someone else called my name and took some info, then someone else got me..there was no waiting. Poof, I was in a gown chatting with my doc... some nice nurse came up to me saying "My friend had RNY> In a few months from now you will feel so much better and get all new clothes.. Congrats!!" It made me feel good... so I Pass that a long to you. (DOn't talk to your unsupportive family members til you get home.For now, you have us.!)
