Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  Got My Date!!! well a couple of days ago i got the call, i finally got my date for my GB. As I listened to the message i began to panic, it is all so real...It took me two days to call the doc's office back but i did.AUGUST 16 2007 @ 7:30 a.m.WOW, I thought i was having a rollercoaster of emotions before... it was nothing to what i have been going thru the last couple of days.Now i am second guessing everything i had planned for, i have read and re-read so much information, i am freaking out about not having certain foods or drinks again, questioning myself thinking i am making a big mistake and then 20 minutes later i am telling myself that i need to stop being such a moron and do it...is this normal??? or are these the signs that i shouldn't do this??? even my mom who was against me having the surgery didn't try to talk me out of it when i told her i got the date, she surprised me and asked how much time she needs to book off work to stay with me in the hospital. am i going to be a basket case till the surgery????  i thought that once i got a solid date that i would be so excited...so close to realizing my dreams and yet there are so many fears...so there it is, thoughts anyone??

On mom's question..I found it a lot more helpful to have someone at HOME with me once I got home..a few visits in the hospital was okay but I slept so much in between walking, etc that I wasn't much company. I had open so I had the pump for quite awhile then the morphine shots so I was out the minute I relaxed at all. {{{hugs}}} the time will FLY!
