Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Talk to your doctor/nutritionist. They'll be able to put you on the right path. Good luck.

I know drinking a lot of water is important, but checking with your doctor is best on this one. (I like Pure Protein shakes - in the can.)

Definately get this straightened out with your docs....the high protein is a life-long thing now and you don't want the gout to plague you forever. Doc probably can shed some light here.

See what your drs and nut says.

That said.
So, exactly how much protein were you getting in when you got the gout attacks?
Check your pre op intake with sites like www.fitday.com or myfitnesspal or whatever you find that suits you, and see how much you were taking in daily then. Compared to that, you may find that your post op instruction is actually lower in protein than your pre op days.
