Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  I have a surgery date! The surgeon's office called today and my surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, June 12. Do you know what I said? "That sure does make it real." I am so excited. Insurance has approved it without a hassle and I prasied God for that. Would love to talk to someone going through this with me around the same time..All advice is welcomed, and prayers are too. My God is an awesome God and all things are possible through Him.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Thanks, ya'll.. MsVickie, I have anthem blue cross blue shield, but I think it is a local program in VA? I am sorry, I am just not that up to date on that stuff. I have GERD, insulin resistance, and a back problem that I have been dealing with for a year! My insurance is pretty good, and I am blessed to have it. It almost seems unreal, but I woke up so happy.  Last night my husband was out in the yard playing with our daughter and her friend and I just didn't have the energy, but I smiled knowing I would soon enough.
