Little apprehensive to share these feelings on here, since last time i showed a concern, I felt like I was being belittled by some of you. I know that anxiety, nervounness and such are normal at this stage.
I don't know why I'm so nervous, it's not like this is the first surgery I have ever had. But it IS the first lifestyle changing one.
Chalking it up to nerves.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I think what can be very scary other than the surgery itself is knowing that once you've had it you've committed to the change for life! Another thing that can be scary although most of the time it is subconsciously is the fact that many of us have hidden behind our obesity and used it as a protective armor for whatever reasons. My armor was there to protect me from men and the pain of childhood sexual abuse. I guess I always thought if I remained unattractive or invisible then I would be left alone. Many have struggled with this same issue or any number of other ones to hide behind. I'm not saying this is the case with you and I hope it isn't... I just wanted to share another reason some people internally fear the change.
I wish you the very best with your surgery on Monday. Please let us know how you are doing when you are able.... and please try not to take things too personal on any forum because what I have learned is it's sometimes hard to convey emotion or inflection when you're not talking to someone in person therefore sometimes there's miscommunication. I hope this was the case with you and also hope you keep posting. Hugs

You have so much to look forward to! Yes, this is the beginning of a long and arduous journey, but just keep thinking about the incredible chance you're giving yourself with this tool. Just keep your thoughts forward to the long run, and visualize how much the quality of your life is going to improve. (Yes, I'm saying this to calm my own nerves as well... - but it's TRUE!)

Wishing you every success - you're going to do great!!
