I have my surgery today. Yay! Only problem is, it's 2:50 in the morning and I can't sleep. I am ready for this surgery and ready to be on the other side. The couple of minutes of sleep I had were racked with people trying to give me water. I keep saying no thanks and they gulp it down in front of me. Seriously? It's after 12, I cannot drink. And my mouth feels like I just licked the sahara and tried to walk home on my tongue. I have my alarm set for 7:30 to arrive by 9:30 but sleep will not come easy for me tonight. Oh well. I've got 4.5 hours to get down with the ZzZzZ. Just figured I'd share my morning jitters with you guys. See you on the losers' bench.
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery. Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.
Best of luck! You'll be getting plenty of sleep the next few days. As for the dry mouth you'll be suffering with that until tomorrow at the earliest. They give you a sponge thing but it doesn't get rid of the dry feeling.( it helps a little)
