Weight Loss Method Duodenal Switch  |  Visit me? Hey, I'm sure you all know by now that I will be having my surgery on June 18th. It will be at New York Presbyterian hospital, which is on York ave., and 68th street. I live approx. 200 miles from there, and as a result, I will have no family, or friends visiting me. I would love for some of my Renewed Reflections family to come stop in and just say hi. Please let me know if you can pop in, even if its just for a few minutes. I don't sound too desperate, do I?

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I agree with the others. I didnt want visitors. My husband was there some of the time and i slept in and out of it. I had a vicious cycle going on with the pain meds and making me nauseated and etc.......I did have one friend stop by and it wasnt good. she fianlly got the hint and left. dont know how long your surgeon says you will be in but I was only in for 2 nights and went home the 3rd day. Good luck on the 18th!!!!!! |

The first day for me I wanted to be left alone but, the day after I wanted people around so I know the feeling. If I wasnt so far away I would get the hubby and make the trip. Some time at some point. And Schuduled a good bit in advance we will have to all plan a place and date to meet up. If that means saving my pennies I would surley do it. Its a thought and dream I hope someday will happen for all of us. I wish I could be there to help support you. |
