| 4 months down 2 to go Hello everyone, had my weigh in today, I actually lost one pound. The nurse told me I was still 4 pounds up from gaining the first 3 months. Well, I am trying, doing everything I can. She said I gained 2 pounds of muscle, but it wouldn't help, why not? I guess I will try to walk on top of the swimming I am doing. Although I told her maybe I should take off a limb. Since she said I need to lose 15 pounds on top of the 4 I gained. So this visit, good and bad. I will take it as good though at least it was not another gain.

Congratulations on the 1lb gone.
You are going in the right direction, and your determination is encouraging!!
Gained muscle may not be so good as is, but increased muscle helps you lose faster, so way to go, keep up the good work!
((((((HUGS))))) May your journey go well.

Yes, the muscle will help you lose better. The way I understand it is that muscle burns more calories and burns more quickly than fat. If I am wrong I am sure doc can explain it better. So, congrats on the loss and the muscle gain. Keep up the good work and I am sure you will get to your goal.

I was required to loose at least 12 pounds and I did that the first month I started, so trying to keep this weight off is really hard. So hang in there you will loose it soon. Just keep up the good work.
