Red face I am in desperate need of help

Hi everyone! I know I haven't been on in awhile, things are crazy here. My parents have been living with us for some years now. Well, things have boiled down to not working out. Financially, room wise, and they interfere with the kids. So after some discussion I had to ask them to leave. Not to kick them right out the door, we gave them 5 months to find a place for themselves. Mind you they have not helped out, pitched in, for anything in quite sometime. Well, I am not the kind of person who goes out to be mean, I try to do things the nice way, well the nice way did not get my far when I told them. My mother is civil to my and my dad, well if I enter the room he leaves. Nice way to live right? The stress level is crazy. Anyway, weekend before last I end up at the ER, with what I thought was kidney stones. Oh no, after a bunch of tests, a shot of Toradol, then Morphine, they tell me Pluerosy, or a rib strain. That was Sunday, I drove home after the morphine shot. I can't believe they let me go, but I can tell you it did not effect me at all. Anyway Monday was my weigh in, I forgot, with the ER visit, and the medicine the ER Dr. prescribed for muscles/antiinflammitory. So now I have to call and see if I can get an appointment in before the end of the month. My weight yo-yos every month and I can't seem to lose anything. I am eating what I should, ( I am on a gluten free diet on top of the 1200 calorie one) and exercising and drinking my water. Has anyone been or heard of someone who was denied because they could not lose any weight? I don't have many months left, and I am almost ready to do some starvation dieting to get some kind of loss in before the end. I don't want to be denied for something that just isn't working. I wish I knew why, I have been researching Celiac disease to see if that may have something to do with it. Well, thats my crazy life lately. I hope you all have been doing well, and hope to get on here more often. Take Care all.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

What are the meds you are taking for Celiac's?
If you are on steroids, that will definitely interfere with the weight loss. Of course, your stress level won't do you any good, either. The best advice I can give you, is talk it out with the dr who's in primary charge of you, and your surgeon if you already have one, and be honest with your home situtation and how it makes things difficult for you, even when you are sticking to the prescribed diet. Pre op weight loss makes the surgery easier, but at the same time, it is for you to make your commitment. If the drs get the message that you are commited, even if the weight you lose is not quite up to their requirements, it probably won't make a big difference.

(((((HUGS)))) I am keeping you in my thoughts that things work out for the best for you.

I agree with Doc, talk to your pcp, if you are doing what they ask you should loose some weight. But your meds may be the culprit!

i would put money on the meds or the disease itself being the cause of the no weight loss. i am sorry i dont know anything about the disease at all but have had a childhood of being overwieght i feel due in part to prednisone. yes it helped me get over asthma issues, but it BLOATED me beyond compare. it increases appetite i believe. ask your dr. i wish you the best.
