Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Thanks all. I'm writing it all down so I don't forget. I have 6 more working days - then a long weekend. I'm really starting to get excited. It's so great to have all of you out there to help.
Gotta run,
Barb

Yes, definitely the lip balm -- I use Neutrogena in the little jar -- it really works wonders! I wish I would have thought of bringing my own pillow, never once crossed my mind but it sure is a good idea because the hospital pillows aren't much. I agree with not taking too much though. I did the same thing, way overpacked -- even brought a book, thought I could read! Ha! But a hairbrush, toothbrush and deoderant are good suggestions, really will want those on the second day. I wore the hospital gown front and back when I went walking -- with the IV cord and the drain tube didn't make any sense wearing my own things. But I was able to wear my own flip flops -- I hate socks too unless its winter, then I like having warm toes! LOL

I brought a nightgown and robe and couldn't wear them because of the IV. I had to use the hospital gown that snaps on the shoulder because of the IV. I was also given the socks with the rubber on the bottom. I liked the leg things with the air it did feel like a massage. And the shower on the day I went home was WONDERFUL! I brought chapstick, but never even used it. After I had my leakage test, crushed ice was always by my side.
