Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  Warning TMI about enema Allright, I've been reading these threads for 6 months and nobody mentioned this!  1. the phospo-soda enema tastes terrible and I had to really struggle to not throw it back up. I was horribly nauseated by it, and I have to do it again today!  Today I am NOT going to mix it in a large glass of water, I'm going to make it as concentrated as possible and chase it with a large glass of water.2. your bum gets really raw after awhile, no matter how gently you wipe. Fortunately I happen to have diaper rash ointment and have been generously applying it. I just wish someone had told me to put in on in advance - maybe I wouldn't have such raw skin now. 3. Nobody mentioned that I would be going every 5 minutes for 4 hours!!!! And then it slowed down to every 15 to 20 minutes LOL. so much for my last minute plans to clean house, do some last minute shopping, pack my bags, etc. |

I live out in the country, the closest store is 30 min away and there's no way I dare try to drive it now. I'm still going from yesterday's enema! Everything I drink is going right through me, but I know i have to stay hydrated so I can't stop drinking. Good advice though. I'm just posting this for those people who haven't had the surgery yet so they can be forewarned. |
