Default Question about Surgery

Just wondering how long you are under anesthesia and how long did the surgery take? Were you nauseous and do they give you something to take care of that?? I tend to get nauseous from the gas and hope with all the new stuff they have now that I won't wake up hurling for the rest of the day.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Mine was about 2 hours as well. I must admit that I have never been more nausaus in my life as when I woke up from this surgery. I suppose that it had alot to do with the tube down my throat. I stayed on fenagrin until I left the hospital, so I was asleep the WHOLE TIME! LOLOLOL I vaguely remember the 2.5 hour drive home. I was in NO PAIN at all either.

I was under I think for about almost 2 hours. Maybe a bit less. I unfortunately did get sick after surgery. They had given me morphine and I had a bad reaction and then they would give me anti nausia meds and that would make me sleep and it was a vicious circle. I did get sick a few times, basically dry heaves. They finally switched me off the morphine and I was much better. Looking back now it was worth it.

Thanks guys. This past summer I had a small surgery and they gave me some stuff that is used on chemo patients to help with nausea and it worked great and I wasn't sick at all, but I was under for a very short period of time. I knew this would take longer and not sure what to expect when I wake up. I will just go in with the belief that it will be just fine!!
