Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Okay, yesterday I went for the nutruition classes and saw the surgeon. Unfortunately I was late getting there and missed the bypass only section because the assistant in the office gave me the wrong time. (They combine RNY and lapband into one class for nutrition)So, I missed the discussion on vitamins, calcium and B12. I have the paper work, but it doesn't give me many ideas of what to buy. I need suggestions!!!! |

| Ladyhawk, I just saw that you take your sublingual B12 only twice a week. I wonder why I have to take it every day. How many grams or whatever is yours?

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | My B-12 is 1000 mcgs. I started out with just once a week but they upped it as a result of my blood work. But it works out perfect with me taking it on Mon & Fri.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Flintstone's Complete - make sure your multi has minerals, some don't 1 Viactive Calcium Citrate 1 generic Calcium Carbonate 1 Biotin for my hair/nails 1 Vit D because my D was low There's been lots of discussion about whether to take Calcium CARBONATE or Calcium CITRATE. Calcium needs stomach acids to be absorbed, and we tend to be in short supply of those LOL so some surgeons say to take carbonate because it absorbs easier. I take one of each. Do whatever your surgeon says. |
