Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  Hello all....after a brief absence I am back Hello all, I kind of got depressed after my denial in November of 2007. I figured I was just going to keep being denied and really thought of giving up. If you remember I was also having issues with one of the people at the surgeons office. Well I had the insurance girl take the file over and we talked, she wrote and appeal. Here it is 3 weeks later, and believe it or not today I got a call. I am approved as of yesterday. Hard to believe but I guess you all know, if you want something bad enough you don't give up, you have faith and you fight for what you want. I thanked the ins rep and then thanked the ins girl at the surgeons office when I called her. Now its just waiting for a date. Oh and you won't believe who does the pre-op educational meetings lol. One good thing is I don't have the monthly weigh ins for awhile. I don't plan to eat and gain, but I had knee surgery right before Christmas so getting around is kind of hard atm. Thanks all again and I will be posting more often.  Cherri
