Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  | Well, I went home my second day of medifast and it was the holidays, so every night for 4 nights I had another family function to attend. And evrywhere I went I heard 'but you can cheat a little!' (as a statement, not a question). I just kept saying 'NO I CAN"T!!!' I know me, if I cheat once - it's over. So I didn't. I just had to keep thinking that the next time I visit I will be able to eat all this stuff (well, most of it, and in tiny amounts). And since I had yet to lose any weight, the next time they see me they won't recognize me! I'll say 'see I didn't cheat and it was worth it!' You can do it!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I coped with the family thing by staying busy. We have little kids around which always keeps us busy and they were glad to let me keep an eye on them and play with them (or referee, or whatever...) I was at a stage where I could eat some, but I just avoided the food area as much as I could. Take some stuff to keep busy - a book, craft, something to do with your hands - cross stitching?
