Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I'm sorry you're having trouble ~ have you talked to your doc about it? What's their take on the situation? It's common to not be able to tolerate much, but you should be able to have something without feeling so bad. What are you eating? Did you do better on liquids or is pouchy just really grouchy all the time? It does take some time to normalize, but it sounds like your doc needs to do something to help with this.....

BTW - welcome to our RR home glad you found us ~~~ support is def critical for this journey!

You need to see your sugeon and do exactly what he says to do. I had a similar experience, and I had to have a stricture dilated. Call him on Monday. It hasn't been an easy journey for me, either, but it is getting better. Good luck!!

Welcome to the board, thank you for joining us.
Congratulations on joining the Losers' Bench.

Have you told your surgeon about what's going on? If you have, what is your surgeon's take on your situation? If you haven't, then you need to ASAP.
Also, what kind of food are you eating? It could be the choice of food. Make sure they don't include a lot of fat and a lot of carbs. Since you are 3 months + out, you should be able to tolerate food better at this stage, but if your choice of the kinds of food isn't good, then you can have trouble.
Another thing, are you getting in the required amount of fluids? Dehydration can cause what you are experiencing too, so that needs to be ruled out as well.
Then of course, there is the stricture, which is many do experience.
Ulcers also can cause such symptoms.

Whatever the cause, though, you MUST let your surgeon know pronto and have him/her check you out.
((((((HUGS))))))) Hope you feel better soon, and may your journey go well.

definitely get an appt with the surgeon and see if they can get an appt for you to do an endoscopy to see if you have a stricture. The nausea is so common with dehydration for sure..! Plus are you doing milk? some people really can't tolerate milk this early on..but the timing I would guess a stricture is possible.

water is sooo important!

I HAD A STRICTURE,AN ULCER,DEHYDRATION,AND MALNOURISHED TO THE POINT OF HAVING TPN AT 6 WEEKS.I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 6 WEEKS. AT 13 WEEKS ANOTHER STRICTURE....SO BEEN THROUGH THAT ALREADY.YES I GET FLUIDS IN.I TAKE AMINO ACID PILLS AND CRUSH THEM TO GET IN PROTEIN SINCE THEY ARE EVIDENTLY THE BEST SOURCE OF PROTEIN(I WAS TOLD THIS ANYWAY).WHEN I TOLD MY SURGEON ALL OF THIS ON THE 5TH OF THIS MONTH ALONG WITH MY 52(NOW 56)POUND WEIGHT LOSS-HE TOLD ME I WAS UNDER GOAL FOR WEIGHTLOSS AND WAS EATING TOO MUCH....TOO MUCH? I BARELY TAKE 3 BITES OF ANYTHING.I REALLY AM DEPRESSED RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I THOUGHT I WAS DOING PRETTY GOOD BEING THROUGH EVERYTHING AND ALL.ALTHOUGH I AM SUPPOSE TO EAT MEATS BY NOW,MOST OF MY DIET CONSISTS OF SOFT FOODS LIKE MASHED POTATOES,EGGS,AND VEGGIES WHEN I CAN....I WOULD RATHER EAT VEGGIES THAN MEAT RIGHT NOW.HE DOESNT WANT ME TO HAVE RED MEAT OR PORK RIGHT NOW,AND NO FRUITS UNTIL 6 MONTHS.BY THEN I PROBABLY WILL NOT EVEN CARE IF I EAT OR NOT.JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF THIS ENDS ANYTIME SOON...THANKS ALL OF YOU FOR BEING SO KIND.I NEED THAT THESE DAYS!
