I had the same problem at first immediately after my surgery for almost 3 weeks. I had to learn to recognize the signs of fullness, and what foods I could tolerate and what I could not. I found out that for me, the denser the food (meat, bread, thick fruit, and acidic stuff like orange juice). The point is, you have to re-learn what works for you. Also, don't try to go too fast. (Been there, done that!) I tried to speed up the schedule, and you really can't do that. Do what your Dr. tells you. He or she is usually very experienced with these situations. Once I learned to recognize the signs of "not a nother bite/never eat that stuff again" I stopped throwing up.
