Angry I cant stop throwing up

I ate around 7:00 pm and it is now 10:00.I ate 2 bites of chicken.Early today I had split pea soup and a protein shake for breakfast. As soon as I ate the chicken I couldn't stop throwing up and so much pressure around the middle of my chest.Does anyone get this? The pressure hasn't gone away and I keep throwing up.I cant even drink water right now without it hurting.I have had this about 4-5 times before.I know I wasn't full, cause I only had two tiny bites.I go to the doctor on the 23rd of march. This really hurts! The pain is worse than heartburn. It does eventually wear off!But this is by far the worse one yet. Please let me know if I can do something for this.It really hurts bad! Thanks~Blessings~

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I had the same problem at first immediately after my surgery for almost 3 weeks. I had to learn to recognize the signs of fullness, and what foods I could tolerate and what I could not. I found out that for me, the denser the food (meat, bread, thick fruit, and acidic stuff like orange juice). The point is, you have to re-learn what works for you. Also, don't try to go too fast. (Been there, done that!) I tried to speed up the schedule, and you really can't do that. Do what your Dr. tells you. He or she is usually very experienced with these situations. Once I learned to recognize the signs of "not a nother bite/never eat that stuff again" I stopped throwing up.

Thanks Guy's I called my doctor last night. Finally stopped throwing up!Yeah! What a nightmare that was.I think the sauce the chicken was cooked in did it.The doctor called me back and said if I dont stop and cant get any clear liquids in to come on in.I was praying it would stop he is 3 hours away.Wont do that again. The only way I have been able to do chicken is chicken salad. So I will stick to that.Doc said if I had had problems sooner than this it would be related to surgery but he said he thinks my pouchy didn't like the food.Boy I sure look at food in a different way.I used to live for my food! Not no more.Stuff I use to love, the smell makes me sick. Thanks again guy's for all your help.By the way I had my blood taken on wednesday,Test came back perfect.I'm Happy about that.Blessings~Shelly~~~~

I'm glad youre doing better. What kind of sauce did you have on the chicken? I bet it had sugar in the ingredients.

I agree with Christy, sauces can be stomach bombs. Unless you made it yourself, don't trust them. You'll learn how and what to eat by trial and error. The best thing to do is to eat a small amount of something new without anything else to see if you can tolerate it. Then you'll know what is safe for you and what is not so safe. Everyone is different. I know people who can't eat pasta or rice, but I can. So you have to carefully test anything post op to be sure. Good luck to you. BTW: You are correct about never looking at food the same way again. My favorite pre op food was a Ribeye steak. I can't even stand the smell of one now since eating steak makes me violently ill. Oh well, that's worth giving up to be where I am now.

Unfortunatley your in the stage right now where you can find out really fast what your tummy likes and tolerates compared to not liking. Alot are Lactose intolerate after wards however I worked my self through that one. Good luck and remember tin tiny bites and small sips
