Last year I had a very bad cough, during this coughing experiance, I ended up with a dislocated rib. This little rib took over 4 months to heal. Since my Surgery on 9/31/09 my little rib has decided to be a pain in my side again. This rib has caused me some really unbelievable pain. It has lots of new room to float around. That area is very tender. I was wondering if anyone else has had this kind of problem. I would really like to know how to deal with this and the normal stuff at this point in my journey.

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery. Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.
I had one that was up in my sternum that I used to have to go to the chiropractor and he's use the little 'thumper' tool to pop it back into place..is that a possibility for you to consult with a chiro?
Plus the pain could possibly be from ligaments or other stuff going on that the surgery is just causing to flare up. I'm doc will have something more to say on this as she can tell you if they would have messed with your ribs during the surgery or anything.

Im gonna suggest you contact the ortho about this one. Its best they check it and xray it again to make sure nothing else is going on with it ok? Doc will be on soon and she can add her wisdom to this but ( if this was me) I would call the ortho back and have it rechecked.

It's probably best to have it checked by an orthopedic surgeon--need Xrays and stuff, just to see how it is. If worse comes to worse, you may need (relatively minor) surgery to attach the floating end to where it should be attached, because floating rib, depending on where it is, might puncture your lung with sudden unexpected movement.
