Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Melissa

I have just been able to sleep on my side so I would think with all the work extra they had to do yes your body is probably very sore and will take time to heal. hope you start feeling better soon.

First off, was the revision done lap or open? If it was open, it will take longer for you to heal. Besides, people who've had revisions seem to take longer to feel better than first time surgeries.
It's still only a few weeks out of surgery, so take things easy still. Even with first time lap bypass, the newly post ops find their energey level low, and that it takes a couple of months before they really feel up to everything.
(((((HUGS))))) Hang in there.

I'm five weeks out from a laproscopic Roux-n-Y and am barely able to sleep on my sides. I still can't make it through the night in bed, have to get up and sleep in my recliner.

My mom is almost 3 weeks out and she's still in a lot of pain (mainly muscle spasms b/c he had to put a stitch in her stomach muscle to stop some bleeding). The doctor had to cut out a lot of scar tissue on her and her surgery was also 5 hours (laproscopic). I know what you mean about sleeping on your side - I'm starting to be able to but not for long periods. Just give your body time to heal and don't rush it along - it'll get better when it's ready!!

I had to remind myself to take it easy. Except for the incisions I had no soreness. Doc also took care of a small hernia while he was in there too(bellybutton hernia??)
