Well, the day is approaching quickly and am feeling calmer today than I have the past couple of days. Being removed from some outside stresses for a while is helping, I will just have to deal with them later when I am back on my feet.
Tomorrow, I am allowed a regular liquid breakfast but then clear liquids the rest of the day, water, grape juice (white) and broth (chicken and vegetable). Sounds like a yummy day.
Hopefully the day will go quickly, I have an appointment at 10:30 and want to get a pedicure, but have to get someone out to look at/replace our water heater which went out on Friday. Luckily we have family in town so have been able to take warm showers and I will probably do my laundry over there tomorrow.
Surgery is at 7:30, I don't know what time I have to be at the hospital yet, but the paperwork says that 2 hours beforehand they will start the IV with antibiotics and blood thinners so I would guess I will need to be there around 5:00, if it wasn't for the no drinking thing I would just stay up since I am a night owl anyway.
I know that Flux has her surgery Tuesday too, anyone else out there for Tuesday?

LOL on the pedicure, cuz I did the same thing! Forget about those outside stresses, and concentrate on YOU! You are doing a couragous act and taking control (W'e'll give God credit!) . When you start walking right away and get back to small daily activities, you will be so surprised at just how good you feel! I am excited for you! Just seven weeks ago I was preparing for my GB. I'll be thinking of you and your friend.

I was disappointed to look at my sheet and not have jello listed. For some reason I thought that I was allowed jello tomorrow but it isn't listed on either pre-op sheet I have. Oh, well I will survive, it is only one day.
