well I am on the losers bench for three days now. the doc had to take out my gall blatter as there was a 2 centimeter stone and three smaller stones He had to make a 6th hole to get it out. None of the surgical cuts hurt but the gas is horrible it really hurts how long can I expect this to continue? oh by the way I have lost 2 kilo more later as I feel better David

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I had a stone that was close to 3 cm plus a bunch of loose gravel, so the doc pulled my gall bladder while he was in the neighborhood. I ended up with 7 holes, but none of them needed more than adhesive strips to hold them shut while they healed.

The gas is bad now and your insides are extremely tender. As they heal, the effect of gas will reduce considerably. The first week is the worst unless you do something unwise and provoke your body to hurt you.

Welcome to the bench!!

Congratulations on joining the Losers' Bench.
Rest well, take things easy and one day at a time, sip sip sip walk walk walk.
Walking will help move the gas and ease the pain, but the pain level and how long varies from person to person. Should be much better after the first week, though.
