Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Congratulations on joining the Losers' Bench.
Rest well, take things one day at a time, sip sip sip walk walk walk.

Your weight gain is IV water weight, and yes, it's quite common, I think the record on this board was 21 lbs, so yours is not really that much, and it will come off within the week.
I know you'd like the weight to be gone yesterday, but how long did it take for you to build up to the point that you decided you needed surgery to help you out? You'll lose in humps and bumps, but so long as you stick to your surgeon't program, a year from now, you will be amazed at how well you've done, so, concentrate on what you need to do today,

MA'AM!! STEP AWAY FROM THE SCALES AND NO ONE'LL GET HURT!!!!

You will drive yourself crazy checking and rechecking your weight, especially so soon after surgery when your body's trying so hard to heal. Do yourself a favor - HIDE THE SCALES!!!

Focus (that's your name, isn't it? ) on your nutrition and intake. The weight will come when your body knows it's safe to turn it loose. You can't force it off. It will happen, just possess your soul in patience!

AND STAY OFF THE SCALES!!!

Yes honey DOC is so right about the fluids they push aka IV. I woke up and asked my husband if I looked like had lost weight. I really did. Especially after 3 days. Dont worry when it lets loose the fluids it lets loose. Like CT says stay off the scales right now and it will suprise ya. Im Vickie incase I havent introduced myself as of yet. Your on the losers bench now. This is one time being called a loser is a great thing. Take care of you and listen to what they told you to do and you should be just fine. No question is ever stupid ok? Take care rest, walk and sip sip sip that water!

Focused,

I was told that the no fluids while eating only counted when eating solids, so I can drink water while I am drinking my protein drinks but if I am eating cottage cheese or something else I have to wait my 30/30/30
