Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

KCrabtree,

I am 10 days out and am really sick of liquids too. I can't wait to start eating real food. I start realfood on 10/16. I feel your pain but we will both be happy once we lose the weight. We just have to persevere!! Hang in there..you can do it!

Sorry to hear about the hernia. The stuff they use for the leak test is nasty. I questioned them when I went in for mine at a week out - they brought a 10 oz or so bottle for me to drink, when I explained that I had just had GB they changed it and I just had to take 3 small swallows of something else and they were done.

Talking Oh yay!

Congrats Elizabeth, we made it!!! yay!! Sorry to hear about the hernia! Ouch!!

I only had to do a blue ice test over several hours, I never had to drink that stuff (thankfully). I told the nurse I was sad when my pee was still yellowish, I was hoping to see blue pee...you should have seen her face!! HAHA!

I am so proud of you girl! I hope you are feeling well. I was told to get those Gas X strips and take if the gas got to be too much. Well last night at like 2am, it wasn't really painful just annoying all the gurgling noises and feeling like well you know. I took one strip and within like 10 minutes all was quiet! Might give it a try. Since the strips desolve, they are safe and it was recommended by my DR and the nurse who had GB herself.

Keep in touch glad to see you are ok and home resting!!
