Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hey you have alot of it here. Everyone here is behid you and will continue to be behind you and with you though out the entire surgery before during and after. Never forget that. Any question we are here and someone is always around to anwser. You might even get call you Dr .......but when we say that it means call your DR. As for your nerves right now........ your NORMAL! Yes normal. Just think how long has it been since you heard your self called normal. ALL of us get the jitters before surgery. If someone didnt then that is when I would be scared about it. I had to sit down and write to mysef...... the goood it would do and the bad points I had a whole list of good and only 3 bad. They sure did out weight the bad. I think people get worried more about not being able to eat somthing never agian more than anything. ANd you know what....... sure you can........ its gonna be a while and your not gonnna be able to eat near as much as you are now used to eating but you will be able to have some of it again at some point.

Keep thinking and in the end the choice is truly up to YOU in the end. No one else can say yes or no but yourself. Good luck and we will have the losers bench ready for you when you come out of surgery .

Heya! Welcome to RR! You are in the right place for support. I was nervous as well, but it was an excited nervous. You have got this far, you have researched and learnt what you can. Its ok to be a little scared, I think its the waiting. I would love to not have to wait when I make a big decision on something! Decide and do it..lol
Think positively, if you pray, then do so, turning it into anticipation is a good thing. We are all here to support you, so stick around and the others will be along as they log in.

Thank you for the supportive messages. I'm positive that this is the right decision for me but getting there is the hard part. : ) Trying so hard not to be scared but the decision seems so overwelming...

Of course you're scared. This is new on just about every level!

Putting aside the fact that no one looks forward to having surgery, you are about to embark on a journey to change your entire life. There is anxiety in such things, even though it's something you want.

Stick around and keep talking. We're listening. (Virtually speaking, of course.)

It can seem very overwhelming and being nervous is natural. After surgery, you will be sore. Probably VERY SORE! But, give yourself a couple of weeks and you'll be surprised at how good you feel. I'm only 2 months out and I am AMAZED at how "normal" my life is now. It's a new kind of normal, but a good normal.

Hang in there! You're almost on the "Losers Bench!" I wish you all the best!!!

Oh, that last minute total melt down is normal. I had it hit the day before and was a big wad of nerves. Try and do something to keep your mind busy, that helped me during the wait. Make sure you've got a few foods for when you get home from the hospital and get ready for a while ride! You'll do great and pretty soon you'll be half the person you are today (literally)!!

Just make sure you have every thing packed and a few things for after the surgery. What are you packing and what do you have for after surgery. These are some important things that you will want to make sure what you need.
