Day 9 No Smoking is going good. Its harder now but I have to pull some of that will power up I have never had much of and make it work.
Got a new update today on surgery.
I was approved from the insurance company !!! Whoo Hoo !!! Charlene the good old country girl from the surgeons office called telling me this. She asked if I was available towards the end of June. I had to tell her no.... Because i have told yall I work in surgeons office myself. We have alot of upcoming well deserved vacations coming up. I do not want my surgery to interfere with any of them.
Our office has only 6 employees and when anyone is out besides the Dr I have to fill that position. Reception, billing, allergy shots and mixing the serums up, Audiology, Nursing, and dont forget my job of harrasing the insurance companys for procedures that need to be done, and trying not to cry with the patients when they find out they have cancer a horrible disease we are going to try to help them fight the best way we know how.
Now you know why I take Lexapro for anxiety. LOL ahh...not funny but its why....
So the first date I can even think about having it is...September.
The Doc I worked for seemed very pleased with me waiting until this time. We are really busy over the summer with surgery's.We slow down when the kids go back to school after having ear tubes, tonsillectomys etc,
I have asked to have it set the week of Sept 17th. Me and the hubby have planned a vacation the week before together and would fit right in at that time. My surgeon don't require a liquid diet before hand just nothing to eat or drink after midnight. So more or less I can have my vacation and eat it to? LOL
I do have my EGD scheduled for May 18th. That is the little light they run down your stomach to see whats up down there LOL. And I will have support persons meeting with the Dr on May 31st. This is the appointment they tell your support person what they need to do and look for. Including telling you to get up off your butt and move ! LOL.
Im excited. This will give me time to get my lungs cleaned out from smoking... tend my garden, Play with all 10 of my nieces and nephews and have a great summer knowing I WILL have my life saving surgery done very soon.
I hope this note finds you all well. Thanks again to eveyone that supports me. Its much appreciated...
