Default I'm a dumper!!

Well, today I discovered that I am a dumper - which I am actually happy about. Unfortunately I discovered this after having my protein shake of choice for breakfast (I hadn't had a shake for two days) - the consequences were immediate and revolting! Now I am wondering if all my post-surgery yuckness was related to dumping and the relatively high level of sugar carbs in these shakes? It wasn't til having a break from them that I was able to seperate out the effects of the shakes on my system. On the plus side, dumping certainly gives the old bowels a great clear out .

Pretty Woman - I make my shakes with water and i have had a couple of lattes with no probs at all, so I think I'm ok lactose-wise.

da perfesser - total compliance is right! I am definitely not going to be making dumping my new party trick Just had some super delicious tuna and hummus with no ill effects - yay protein!

10 years after i still dump sugar ,being the biggest trigger for me. I can't have dairy, even soy milk will make me dump. Can't say you every get use to it but at least you know what your triggers are. Much luck

It sure is, it took me a long time to listen to my body. The past 6 months Ive been doing 1200 cals and very few dumps, and Ive lost 50 lbs and I'm relearning a lot about my body.
