Hi,
I too, had problems with nausea and vommitting. I could not tolerate even water. What helps me is ice chips, I buy about three big glass of ice chips a day and they go down well, so that is helping me with hydration. One other thing i notice is that I have to stop on anything I eat right away. Yougurt, I only eat three to four 1/2 teaspoons etc... this is helping me now....hope it helps you. My doctor also started me on prevacid and that did wonders..open the capsule up, pour it into the yougurt and helps settle my stomach.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Mandy,
I am a little worried with what you are eating, I dont want to come across as harsh or offensive but I am not sure cheesey potatoes are the best food for weightloss. You definately need to get in at least 65 grams of protein. They have this protein powder called unjury they have the kind that isnt flavored so you can add it to your food.
I believe you can order it online at
Welcome to the UNJURY Homepage
Also you can get protein drinks that will help you get in the protein. I hope I havent offended you

I am not sure about the potatoes either but did i read correctly that you are already eating bread? I do not know how your surgen feels about the breads pastas and etc. But I was told to not eat breads and all that for the first 6-12 months. Not to mention that the few times I did try them they made me ill with an upset, bloated and crampy stomach. Be careful with what you choose to eat, right now is your learning curve. It will take time to learn what you are able to stomach, if you notice something you eat often is upsetting your stomach stop eating it for a while. If your not sure test it. I had to try yogurt three times before I realized that it just was not going to be possible for me to eat it. But I tryed it all by itself on three different days and know that for sure that is what was causing the vomiting. Trial and error thats what it takes now.
